Viktoriia's Story I created my first website at the age of 13 or 14, it was an ucoz.ru place, and it was highly popular back in the days when react.js nor ES6 existed. I still remember it had the music feature and I was trying to add some Flash there. I know some basic basics, but I have never had a proper course dedicated to Frontend only.

🙋‍♀️ Viktoriia's Motivation

My motivation is to be able to provide for myself and be able to have a roof above my head. I have dreamt of becoming a frontend developer and have had a few classes, which didn't provide in-depth like you guys do. Just recently I participated in EPAM for Ukrainian switchers, but sadly I didn't pass for the phase two. Yet, it gave me lots of knowledge which will be useful during the course with you.

🤹‍♀️ Viktoriia's Hobbies

I love cycling, traveling, nature, technology. From 2018 to 2019 I worked as a cabin crew for Qatar Airways, so I have seen some places (Myanmar is definitely one of my favourite). Used to take dance classes and go swimming - before the war. Nowadays it's mostly news and educational videos on youtube, oh, and the Stranger Things on Netflix.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
