Victoria's Story It actually started few months ago, when I was struggling to pay my accommodation bill at school, I was sad and reached out to friends and one of them suggested I try out non coding tech opportunities like UI/UX design etc. I started surfing the web for it. So one of those days I stumbled across an ad from an online tech school which say that ' Tech is for everyone'. That motivated me to start reading articles and watch videos about tech and particularly about web developing because prior to that I use to wonder about how the web works and what happens behind the scenes. I said to myself after reading one of those articles that day that I was going to be a web Developer. This is how I genuinely became interested in coding.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
