Anastasiia's Story I first learned about coding in the USA, from an acquaintance. After his stories, it became interesting to understand. I became interested in how coding happens, it's like talking to a computer. Such knowledge also develops the brain, so I definitely want to try myself in this direction.

🙋‍♀️ Anastasiia's Motivation

In Ukraine, I was a labor lawyer, and now because of the war I had to seek protection in the United States. I understand how difficult it is to find a really interesting and decent job in a new country, because all my adult life I studied the laws and rights of my native country. However, in new realities, I feel that it is necessary to explore and learn new things. I have an analytical mindset, I understand quickly, so I believe that I will be able to master a new profession.

🤹‍♀️ Anastasiia's Hobbies

I like to draw, read fiction. When we get together with friends, we like to play monopoly, mafia.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
