Alina Kovalova

🇺🇦 Ukrainian living in Szczecin, 🇵🇱 Poland

Alina's Story I like that because dots, commas, and other signs you can create a separate universe. I also love painstaking work that requires a lot of attention and effort. I believe that a woman can find a well-paid job and not depend on a man financially, as is often the case in Ukraine

🙋‍♀️ Alina's Motivation

All my life I dreamed of a husky. But it so happened that in 2014 I was forced to immigrate first to Kyiv and then immigrate to Poland. Huskies are a breed of dog that constantly needs a person. They should not be left at home alone. Therefore, I want to find a job with a remote or combined work schedule. I also want to help shelters where dogs live, abandoned by their owners because of the war. They need financial support.

🤹‍♀️ Alina's Hobbies

I love going to cinemas. Before the war, I went to the cinema 3-4 times a month I also enjoyed TRX, Fly Yoga, and running.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
