Anastasiia's Story IT is the main sphere nowadays and I learnt about a lot of roles in IT when I was graduating. However most roles, and of course, development (read: technical roles) seemed to be something more suitable for men. One day I found an open vacancy for trainee QA in one of our local companies (to start with), after the test task was successfully done I was invited for the interview where the interviewer (male) told me that I am a girl, moreover I am non technical person (I have Master's Degree in Philology/Translation). So he refused to consider me even for the trial period with the words "you should go and do translation instead". I gave up at that moment and was really broken. Despite the previous moments it still looks so challenging and fascinating, so I always get back to the thoughts to try to code and become a developer or at least QA-> AQA.

I believe that I can (and want) be more productive and useful professionally. Coding or things that are closely related to the code are things I really eager to proceed with and be successful. To get better job, live better life and be confident. Development and technologies do not stand still. That is great that you should constantly learn something new.

Anastasiia's coding training
