Yetunde's Story As a support personnel who earns way below the majority of my colleagues, I started evaluating the skills I possess and how I could build on them to improve the quality of life I live by transitioning to Tech. I love creating solutions and this is exactly what I believe my tech team is focused on. At first, it appears impossible but after completing a beginner's class in SQL with Datacamp a few weeks ago and doing some self-learning, I am confident that learning to code seems like a very good way to improve my problem-solving skill.

I am motivated to learn coding to improve my employability skill and quality of life. However due to the cost of learning on most of the platform I saw, I could not proceed. Then I started surfing the net for free coding classes in Nigeria and I came across SheCodes. I am intrigued by the testimonies, recommendation and hope to learn in this women community.

I enjoy volunteer work as I currently volunteer with the Lagos Food Bank, listening to music is one of my favorite ways to recharge and enjoy my me-time. Fishing, although i do not do it often, It is one of the most interesting things I discovered as an adult.

Yetunde's coding training

Yetunde has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
