Kowsar's Story I always liked working with computers as a child and a few friends of mine choose computer and coding related majors in college. seeing how they code and work it always made me want to try and learn it. It seemed to be a very smart and creative thing to do, both of which I value greatly. I always had it in the back of my mind to find a way to learn it properly and efficiently.

🙋‍♀️ Kowsar's Motivation

I want to be able to make a living for my self and be financially independent so one day I would be able to help other girls in my country to do the same, with more ease, and therefore become more confident and comfortable with working in jobs that are normally given to men. Especially in my country where women are told to become housewives only and it's hard for them to find jobs in this industry. Besides that I need to find a remote job so I could pay my college fees and be a help to my parents in financial maters that are getting harder to handle everyday in Iran.

🤹‍♀️ Kowsar's Hobbies

I enjoy reading different kinds of books and solving puzzles a lot. Also hiking and camping are my favorite activities because being in nature makes me feel good. Sometimes I used to be just go out with my bicycle and try to find new places in the city that I haven't seen before covid.

Kowsar's coding training

Kowsar has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
