Amaka's Story I've always been in love with learning how the Web works. I taught myself how to design WordPress websites and it was absolute amazing but I never learnt how to code. I'm currently on a journey to restart my career after losing my job and then taking time to have my daughters but now I'm going back to what I love which is Web Development but I want learn it from the scratch and learn it right. I got to know about the SheCodes website via LinkedIn and I attended the free workshop by Mr Matt and I was totally hooked.

I visit the SheCodes website almost everyday, thats how much I've come to love SheCodes. After attending the free class, I've wished to be a part of the applicants listed on SheCodes that have attended the workshops. I always look through the curriculum of the different workshops hoping one day I'll get to attend them.

For Hobbies, definately movies!! Crime | Detective | Cybercrime | Forensics, etc films like these get me really really entertained.

Amaka's coding training

Amaka has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
