Abigail 's Story My initial interest in coding sparked from various sources: exposure to captivating technological innovations, curiosity about how software works, and witnessing the impact of coding in solving real-world problems. I encountered a specific project that inspired me to explore the mechanics behind it, prompting a desire to understand and create similar things.

The desire to create something concrete, like software, an app, or a website, is what draws me to learn coding. Another strong motivator is career progression. Coding abilities are highly valued in a variety of professions as the world grows more digitally connected. Learning to code can lead to new career prospects and enable you to make a significant contribution to technical progress. My passion for coding is fueled by the inherent delight of problem-solving, creation, and exploration. Fulfillment arises from the excitement of watching lines of code come to life and the sense of success one has after conquering coding obstacles.

Abigail 's coding training

Abigail has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
