Ajao's Story From an early age, I’ve wanted to pursue a career within the computing industry. Computers have always given me a platform to emphasize my creativity and increase my general knowledge. Given the ever-increasing technological breakthroughs we see in everyday life, I’m fascinated to see what the future holds. What I enjoyed most in computing is the challenge involved in problem-solving. During my undergraduate level days, I had help in developing an app that can test your weight (under-weight, over-weight, and obesity) Being able to program in my own creative space was a great experience, letting me improve my ability whilst giving me the constant reminder of the passion I hold for the subject. I cannot wait to take my programming endeavors to new heights and look forward to seeing how my skills improve in the future.

Innovation has always been something that I strive to achieve. We live in a world where it feels like we have the answer to everything and the majority may be content with that; however, I am not the majority. For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to pursue ‘the next step’ or be held responsible for ‘the next big thing, and I feel that my passion for computers equips me with the tools I need to achieve that goal. In the future, I don’t want to be remembered as someone who was inspired by him/her. I want to be the one who inspires.

Ajao's coding training

Ajao has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
