Amaarah's Story I've always found coding interesting but I was always told that I won't fit in. I lost my funding to study at university so I've spent a considerable amount of time researching other career fields. I am a very creative person but I also love data and that's why coding is interesting to me.

I want to provide a better life for my family and right now, I have the time to learn how to code but I don't have the funding. After researching many other fields, I feel like coding is the best choice for me.

I read a lot of books as well as write novels. I volunteer with paramedics in my free time and I enjoy cooking and baking.

Amaarah's coding training

Amaarah has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
