Amanda's Story I became interested in coding when I tried to customize my personal blog in tertiary . Writing HTML and CSS to change the layout and design was fascinating. Seeing my changes instantly reflected on the screen hooked me, and I wanted to learn more about how websites and applications work.

One of my favorite hobbies is hiking. I love exploring nature trails and experiencing the beauty of the great outdoors. Hiking allows me to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse myself in serene and picturesque landscapes. I find peace and rejuvenation in nature. The physical activity also keeps me fit and energized, and I enjoy the sense of accomplishment after reaching a summit or completing a long hike.

Amanda's coding training

Amanda has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
