Anastasiia's Story A lot of people around me are coding (my husband, my friends, my students). Coding seems interesting to me as it requires a lot of skills. Apart from having certain knowledge you should process a lot of information, do it logically, be creative sometimes, know how to organise information.

🙋‍♀️ Anastasiia's Motivation

To obtain international qualification, be able to provide for my family in new reality and start a new chapter of my life since I am ready to do something life changing. When you are coding you are evolving constantly, you can always improve. I have heard a lot about the structure of IT companies, I love company culture of most of the IT companies I know. I believe they are changing society to the best. I’m also sure my degree in foreign languages and about 7 years experience of ESL teaching might be a logical background as learning coding is also a language and working for IT company might need communicational skills.

🤹‍♀️ Anastasiia's Hobbies

I love meeting my friends. Also yoga, going to the gym, reading, watching films, learning about different cultures, exploring the world.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
