Andiswa's Story I became interested in coding while I was studying Civil Engineering. There was a coding module where we were learning Python. I struggled with it but the challenge sparked my curiosity and inspired me to switch to Computer Science. I am interested in learning coding because like painting and drawing it's creative and there's always room for learning and growth. It allows me to solve problems while using both logic and creativity.

🙋‍♀️ Andiswa's Motivation

I am a third year Computer Science student, and throughout my studies I've noticed that there are important practical skills I still need to strengthen. Although I understand theoretical concepts, I lack experience in working with tools and technologies that are essential in the industry such as CSS, JavaScript, HTML and hosting.

🤹‍♀️ Andiswa's Hobbies

My hobbies are painting, drawing, going to the gym and reading.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
