Anelisiwe's Story I first became interested in coding because I love technology and how it shapes the world around us. I wanted to understand how websites, apps, and software work. The idea of creating something from scratch using code excited me. At first, coding seemed complicated, but as I learned more, I realized it’s like solving puzzles—challenging but fun. I enjoy problem-solving and being creative, and coding allows me to do both. Seeing my code come to life motivates me to keep learning. I want to learn how to code with SheCodes because technology is shaping the future, and I want to be part of it. Coding is a valuable skill that can open many opportunities, whether for a new career, freelance work, or even starting my own projects. SheCodes offers a structured and beginner-friendly way to learn, making it easier to understand complex concepts. I am especially excited to build real-world projects and see my ideas come to life. Coding also helps improve problem-solving and logical thinking, which are useful skills in any profession. With SheCodes, I get to learn in a supportive environment with expert guidance. Ultimately, my goal is to gain confidence in coding, work on meaningful projects, and explore career opportunities in tech. Learning to code will give me the flexibility and creativity to turn my ideas into reality.

In my free time, I enjoy learning new things, especially about technology and coding. I like working on small projects and improving my coding skills. I also enjoy reading, listening to music, and watching movies. Sometimes, I like to relax by going for a walk or spending time with family and friends. Trying new things and being creative makes me happy, whether it’s learning a new skill or working on a fun project.

Anelisiwe's coding training

Anelisiwe has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
