Anna's Story As I am learning Software testing theory, questions arise in my head, what is behind the scenes. if i can code by myself in theory? and then information about SheCodes foundation workshop caught my eye. As of skills, I have confident computer hardware and software knowledge, as of application and ERP systems: I have worked with CPMS (= Corrugated Packaging Management System) for corrugated cardboard industry, key user of inventory management and Transport and Delivery modules; 1C enterprise (Ukrainian accounting software), eCommerce platform: Shopify, Applications: Asana, Wunderlist, Basecamp. And this month I have worked with Jira Software (user story, bug report creation). Every new position in my career required flexibility, ownership, readiness to learn new methods, tools, ways to resolve issues, so I am sure I can gain new skills in coding.

🙋‍♀️ Anna's Motivation

Hi, I am Anna. I’m 34 years old. Originally I am from Kherson, but now I live in Lviv. I have a diploma as a teacher of German and English languages, still I have chosen completely another way and for 10 years I have worked in supply chain and logistics. When the war in Ukraine started, I realized that I have to do the best I can for my future and self realization. And that now is the best time to push myself to a strong and continuously developing field - IT industry and transform my strengths and knowledge to That’s why I started to learn Software Testing theory by myself. There is a lot of material on YouTube and educational platforms. In one of the Telegram Channels devoted to Testing I have found the comment and link to SheCodes foundation website (one lady wrote she is there and recommends it) and a thought came to my mind - “That’s it, I have to apply to test myself in coding”. The same day I watched the promo and information related to the workshop, and here I am, applying to the programm.

I like to help people, to navigate them if I have information on the topic they are interested in, I fond of sports and gym, music and live performances, urban hiking, self improvement (mental, proffesional).

Anna's coding training

Anna has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
