Aretha's Story I was first introduced to coding when i enrolled for my Information Technology and Computer Science course at a government college. I did introduction to Systems Development which i found interesting but due to finances constrains, i never got a chance to study further in terms of coding.

🙋‍♀️ Aretha's Motivation

The world is moving to digital so i would really love to form part of the people who would be inventing new system. So i figured which other platform can i chose if not SheCode because it is giving woman an opportunity to enter into the digital space which is very empowering.

🤹‍♀️ Aretha's Hobbies

I do not really have hobbies, I spend most of my time glued to my laptop or cellphone dong research on financial literacy, ways to empower myself and current affairs. For fun mostly i would go out with family and friend for drinks or game dates.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
