asma's Story I first became interested in coding because I’ve always felt drawn to working quietly on my own behind a computer, building things step by step. I like the feeling of focus, problem-solving, and creating something from nothing. I also admire the idea of being a woman who is both creative and technical, someone who understands how things work and can build solutions with her own hands. Coding represents that version of myself I want to grow into.

🙋‍♀️ asma's Motivation

Living in Algeria, I have seen how important it is for women to have access to practical skills that allow financial independence and professional growth. I am also a mother, which makes me even more determined to build a stable and flexible career that allows me to work from home while taking care of my family.I am especially interested in frontend development because I enjoy visual work and creativity, and I love seeing ideas come to life on a screen.

🤹‍♀️ asma's Hobbies

I’m a mom, so my days are a mix of family life and learning new skills online. I enjoy design work on Canva, exploring tech... I enjoy drawing lately because it helps me feel calm and in touch with myself, giving me inner peace. I also love spending time with my daughter and planning fun activities for her.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
