Ayanda's Story I first became interested in coding when I started exploring ways to make money online and create my own digital products. I realized that many successful creators and entrepreneurs use websites and digital platforms to share their work, and I became curious about how those platforms are actually built. As I got more involved in things like designing ebooks and learning about online business, I saw how useful coding could be in helping me create and customize my own projects instead of relying on templates. That’s when I started seeing coding not just as a technical skill, but as a creative tool that can help me bring my ideas to life.

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes is to build practical digital skills that I can use to create real opportunities for myself. I’m interested in combining creativity with technology, especially in areas like content creation, digital products, and online business. Learning to code will allow me to design my own websites, customize my projects, and better understand how digital platforms work. I also want to become more independent and future ready by gaining a skill that is in high demand globally. SheCodes stands out to me because it offers a supportive and beginner friendly environment, which makes it easier for me to stay consistent and actually complete the program. Ultimately, I see coding as a tool that will help me bring my ideas to life and expand my opportunities both locally and internationally.

In my free time, I enjoy creative and productive activities. I like designing digital content such as ebooks and visuals, which allows me to express my creativity. I’m also interested in content creation, especially in the lifestyle and fashion space, and I enjoy exploring new ideas for that. I spend time learning new skills as well, like studying science and recently getting into coding, because I enjoy challenging myself and growing. Outside of that, I like watching shows, listening to music, and thinking of new business or project ideas.

Ayanda's coding training

Ayanda has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
