Ayotoke's Story It was during the strike last year that a friend introduced me into it and I loved it. I also took a few courses but then school resumed and it became overwhelming for me.

🙋‍♀️ Ayotoke's Motivation

I'm currently a fourth-year student at the University of Lagos, which is going okay but right now, I'm going through a really tough time. So, today, I decided to look up tech related bootcamps that are free and then, I stumbled upon SheCodes, and it just clicked for me. This is what I want to do. I'm really into computers and technology, and I've learned a bunch of stuff here and there. But the issue is that I don't have enough money to take my learning to the next level. SheCodes can help me become even better at coding but I need some financial help to get there. I'm after a chance to improve my skills and knowledge. With your support, I believe I can achieve great things in the tech world and one day, I hope to inspire other young folks like me to follow their dreams in this exciting field.

I like to code (cliche, I know), read fiction books, hang out with my beloved friends, sleep, try cooking recipes and make video edits that I never post.

Ayotoke's coding training

Ayotoke has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
