aysan 's Story through my dad. he used to be one of the first people in our town to have a software selling company back in the 90s. he was always very passionate about coding and computers and i got that from him. he got bankrupted around 2009 when the economy in iran got really bad; so many people lost their jobs for no good reason. it was very hard for him to stand up again, its almost impossible here ! so many people end their lives because of financial reasons in iran but he learned how to drive a truck, got the license and started making money out of that he's been driving for almost 15 years now. he went to university in his 20s to have a better and safer future but the government made that impossible for him. driving was never his passion but he did it anyways so my sister and i would have no worries for money and we could study in peace (to move abroad through that eventually). learning how to code and being financially successful in that field is a big personal motivation for me. i want to be able to pay my dad back and give him the life he deserves.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
