Barkha's Story I saw someone in my school build a very cool website from scratch and safe to say, I was totally amazed. All I wanted to do after that was to learn how I could do that too. In my 12th grade, I learnt Python and MySQL and developed a great interest in that too, so wanted to move forward with that as well.

🙋‍♀️ Barkha's Motivation

My father really wanted me to take humanities in class 12th.( uncommon, i know) I went against that, went with my interests, took Science and got introduced to the world of computer science. I've gotten into B.tech but he still thinks this was a wrong choice. I want to learn how to code efficiently, find a great job and show him that I chose something fruitful. I want to provide everything to my family that they never had as my mother is spending a lot of amount on my degree and she deserves to have the better life that I keep promising her with the world of coding.

I love to do Calligraphy. Anytime I'm stressed, I pick up my pens and start creating flourishes. Gives me a sense of peace and tranquility.

Barkha's coding training

Barkha has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
