I am a lawyer looking to enhance my earning potential and remain competitive in an increasingly data-driven world. By learning to code with Python, R, and SQL, I aim to develop strong data analysis skills that will open up new career opportunities in legal policy research, regulatory analysis, and development impact assessment. These skills will enable me to analyze legal and policy trends, assess regulatory frameworks, and provide data-driven insights that shape effective governance, decision-making and development. The legal profession is evolving rapidly, with data playing a crucial role in everything from evidence-based policy recommendations to compliance risk assessments. To remain relevant and future-proof my career, I must adapt to this shift. Learning to code will equip me with the analytical skills necessary to conduct in-depth legal research, track policy changes using data, and contribute meaningfully to regulatory development and policy reviee. She Codes Foundation’s mission to empower women in tech aligns perfectly with my goals. As a woman in a field where data-driven decision-making is becoming essential, I recognize the importance of bridging the gap between law and technology. By gaining coding skills, I hope to advance my career while also advocating for data-driven policymaking and legal reforms. My unique perspective as a lawyer will allow me to bring fresh insights to the world of data analysis and development.
