Betelihem's Story I first became interested in coding when I realized how much technology shapes the way we work, communicate, and solve problems. Through my experiences in healthcare and business, I’ve seen how digital tools can make processes faster, more efficient, and more accessible. I became curious about how these tools are built, and coding felt like the key to unlocking that creativity and problem-solving power.

My motivation for learning how to code is to gain the skills needed to bring my ideas to life and solve real-world problems through technology. I’m especially excited about the flexibility and creativity coding offers, and I want to use it to improve my career opportunities and contribute to projects that can make a positive impact. Since SheCodes offers a structured, beginner-friendly, and supportive environment, I believe it’s the perfect place for me to start my journey.

I enjoy exploring coffee culture — from cupping and brewing to learning about different origins and flavors. I also like reading, going to the gym, and discovering new ideas that blend creativity with business. Recently, I’ve been interested in learning new skills like coding, which I see as both fun and empowering.

Betelihem's coding training

Betelihem has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
