biruktawit's Story I first became interested in coding when I realized how much technology shapes our daily lives. Whether it’s websites, apps, or even the smallest automated tasks, I was fascinated by how code makes things work behind the scenes. My curiosity really start to sparked when i first start to see tech shows ,that on how the world work on technology and also when i join my department and try coding .At first, it seemed complex, but the more I explored, the more I loved the logic and creativity behind it. I enjoyed the challenge of solving problems and seeing instant results from my efforts. As I learned more, I saw how coding could open doors to exciting opportunities and allow me to create things that can help others. That’s why I want to develop my skills further and be part of a community that supports women in tech. SheCodes seems like the perfect place to take this passion and turn it into a real skill.

Dear SheCodes Team, I am excited about the opportunity to join SheCodes and learn how to code. My motivation for learning coding comes from my strong interest in technology and problem-solving. As the world becomes more digital, I believe coding is a valuable skill that will help me enhance my career opportunities and contribute to innovative projects. As i am second year software engineering and to learn more on coding but also to gain hands-on experience in programming. I believe SheCodes offers a supportive and structured learning environment, which will help me build confidence and technical skills. Additionally, I am eager to join a community of like-minded women in tech and be part of a movement that empowers more women to enter the technology industry. My goal is to be the best female coder and to became web developer, and I am confident that SheCodes will help me take the first step toward achieving it.

outside of learning new things .I enjoy reading books ,watching movies because it allows me to be creative and unwind .I also love to cooking and to watch motor sport which helps me relax and stay active. In my free time, I like exploring new tech-related topics, whether it's trying out coding challenges or learning about the latest innovations. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, or just having a good conversation. Overall, I love a mix of creativity, learning, and fun activities that keep me engaged and inspired!

biruktawit has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
