Camila 's Story My interest in coding began a few years ago when I discovered my passion for technology. I've always loved exploring how devices work, how apps are created, and how the systems that drive innovation are developed. That's when I realized that programming was one of the key drivers behind all these technological advances. This revelation awakened in me an insatiable curiosity and a fervent desire to immerse myself in the world of programming. I discovered that programming was essential in the technological field, as it allowed me to create innovative solutions, solve complex problems and bring to life ideas that previously only existed in the imagination. I felt a mix of excitement and determination when I realized that programming would open the doors to a world full of possibilities and opportunities to positively impact society. Since then, my passion for coding has continued to grow and continues to be a driving force in my life.

Consider this knowledge-enriching opportunity within the great world of programming to be simply wonderful. It fills me with excitement and joy to be able to develop and improve certain essential skills to delve deeper into code development. I am really motivated by the possibility of filling in those empty and incomplete spaces that I was not able to address during my systems engineering career and being able to dive even deeper into this area that is currently so important to the world and, honestly, fascinating to me.

Hobbies are important to me because they allow me to disconnect from daily worries and enjoy activities that bring me joy and well-being. Having hobbies helps balance my life and find space for myself. My favorite hobbies include reading, swimming, exercising, and listening to music. Reading transports me to different worlds and allows me to learn and reflect on different topics. Swimming gives me a feeling of freedom and calm, while physical exercise helps me stay fit and take care of my health. Music, on the other hand, accompanies me at all times and helps me relax, motivate myself and express my emotions. Each of these hobbies has a special meaning in my life and brings me moments of happiness and satisfaction.

Camila 's coding training

Camila has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
