Catherine's Story Growing up, I used to watch shows on girls coding which in my opinion made them look awesome, ultimate female bosses and powerful. But over time I had the mentality of coding being hard, now I am giving coding another chance to prove me wrong.

My motivation mainly comes from wanting to make a big 360 in my career path with a background in communications in uni, having no idea of what I'm supposed to do from this point. I'd like to try coding to transition into tech and make an impact with my lines of code.

I like traveling and discovering new adventure spots. Also, I enjoy novels and birdwatching.

Catherine's coding training

Catherine has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
