Catherine's Story There are many reasons why I became interested in coding, but the most significant one is the power that coding gives to create, innovate and solve problems. Since a young age, I was fascinated by how technology could transform the world, and I realized that coding was the driving force behind it. As I grew older, I saw the impact that technology had on businesses, society, and people's daily lives. I wanted to be part of this change and use my skills to create something that would make a difference. This led me to start learning to code, and I quickly fell in love with the process of writing code and seeing it come to life.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
