Cherezanne's Story My first experience with coding was in high school, where I was introduced to the basics of HTML and CSS. I was immediately captivated by the ability to create and design beautiful web pages from scratch. This initial exposure sparked a deep interest in coding. While I didn't have the opportunity to further a career in coding at that time, the interest to learn more has always stayed with me. No one in particular introduced me to coding rather it was more of a self-discovery during a computer class. The logical problem-solving aspect of coding and the creativity involved in designing and creating web pages captivated me. I'm eager to learn more about coding with SheCodes because I believe coding is a powerful tool to build solutions and innovate. It also offers numerous career opportunities, where continuous learning and improvement are integral, which aligns well with my passion for personal and professional growth. My motivation for learning to code with SheCodes originates from my professional and personal goals. Firstly, I am motivated by a great desire to improve my professional abilities and pursue a career as a frontend developer. Learning to code has become an essential skill, and I believe it will significantly improve my employability and career opportunities. SheCodes provides a self-paced, supportive learning environment that aligns perfectly with my learning style and professional goals. Moreover, I believe that learning to code will provide a better life for myself and my family. As a frontend developer, I would have the opportunity to secure a stable and higher-paying job. A career as a frontend developer would not only allow me to contribute more to my family's wellbeing but also set a good example for my younger family members about the importance of lifelong learning and adaptability. I am passionate about technology and its creative potential. Coding allows me to put my creativity and problem-solving abilities into developing unique and user-friendly solutions. By learning to code with SheCodes, I will obtain the necessary skills and confidence to excel in the tech industry and make a meaningful impact in my professional and personal life

I have a variety of hobbies that keep me entertained. Firstly, I love reading books, I love diving into different worlds and learn new perspectives, whether it's fiction or non-fiction, there's something magical about getting lost in the pages of a good book. Cooking is another interest of mine. I enjoy experimenting with new recipes and flavours in the kitchen. Hiking is my favourite outdoor activity, offering me a chance to explore nature and stay active. I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, whether it's through casual get-togethers, game nights, or cooking meals together. These activities not only bring me joy but also help me stay connected with the people I care about.

Cherezanne's coding training

Cherezanne has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
