CHHAVI's Story My interest in coding first sparked through my cousin, who is a software developer. Observing his work and enthusiasm for technology was incredibly inspiring. He often shared insights about programming projects and the thrill of problem-solving through code. This exposure opened my eyes to the endless possibilities within the field of software development. His passion and the innovative nature of coding fascinated me, leading me to explore programming myself. This early inspiration laid the foundation for my pursuit of a career in tech, driving my eagerness to learn and excel in the world of coding.

I’m motivated to learn coding with SheCodes because I’m passionate about AI and deeply committed to increasing the representation of women in engineering. As a student of Computer Science and AI in a government college, my fascination with AI has driven me to excel academically, exemplified by my impressive 97 percentile in the JEE entrance exam among 14 lakh students. Despite this success, I recognize the significant underrepresentation of women in engineering fields. SheCodes offers a unique opportunity to hone my skills, contribute to bridging this gap, and inspire more women to pursue careers in technology.

In my free time, I love playing badminton and table tennis. I’ve been playing badminton since childhood and was even selected for my high school badminton team, which deepened my passion for the sport. Additionally, I have a keen interest in photography. Capturing moments, especially those of nature and everyday life, allows me to express my creativity and appreciate the beauty around me. These hobbies—sports and photography—help me unwind, connect with others, and maintain a balanced lifestyle, complementing my academic pursuits and enriching my overall personal development.

CHHAVI's coding training

CHHAVI has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
