Chinwendu 's Story Uchechi Stella introduced me to coding. In the world where tech is the order of the day I can't afford to be left out. Who knows, I can even put the knowledge of whatever I will learn from this platform into education and sure education will be better from my angle at least. I must say that I don't even know how this coding thing works.

🙋‍♀️ Chinwendu 's Motivation

From what I've gathered, I feel shecodes will help me immensely in improving my life in all aspects. Also, I want to upskill. I do not just want to up-skill, I want to upskill in a platform that had testimonies and recommendations from other tech organizations and this is actually the most trusted platform I found. Uchechi Stella who is my sister and friend was actually the main carrier of the name of this platform among my group of friends as mentions it in between conversations. She also mentioned that the foundation gives full scholarships to women and I felt I have to do this. I just have to join the stream of people talking about the good of this platform.

🤹‍♀️ Chinwendu 's Hobbies

I love traveling, even though I get this traveling sickness each time I do. Meeting people and learning their culture also makes me feel happy. I love music and I love dancing as I use it most times as a form of exercise

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
