Chinwendu's Story I was inspired when I watched a friend of mine do it. The way it works and all. I had to watch his ideas take shape and step by step, it turned out to be an astonishing blast. How he was able to create something that didn't exist before, not withstanding the challenges of sleepless nights and the happiness of discovering a bug and fixing it. I noticed that the more you know, the more fun it becomes. I am actually just curious and I seek to understand the technology around me.

🙋‍♀️ Chinwendu's Motivation

Technology is everywhere in the modern world, countries are developing. Learning coding would give me the beneficial tools I need to shaping the future. It can also help me to showcase my creativity online for example; create online blogs and complex websites, be able to customize them rather than use existing templates. Another motivation was because coding is a universal language, it remains the same anywhere globally. I can carry the skill to any country which would make me a highly employable individual and I can be able to thrive in self-development to adapt to the future. Consequently, earn supplementary income as it's a career opportunity with flexible working hours and predictable work conditions .

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
