Why I, Christabel, Should Break Into Tech with Shecodes As a woman, pursuing a career in technology is not just a professional ambition but a deeply personal journey of resilience, courage, and hope. Throughout my life, I’ve seen how technology can shape the world, solve problems, and create opportunities that transcend borders. However, breaking into tech has often felt like an uphill battle. As a woman, I have had to face a unique set of challenges—skepticism about my abilities, the lack of representation, and the pressure to constantly prove myself in a male-dominated field. Despite these barriers, my passion for technology remains unshaken. I know that my journey won’t be easy, but I am determined to break through. I want to be a part of a movement that redefines what it means to be a woman in tech. I want to contribute to innovations that not only improve lives but inspire other women like me to believe that they too can thrive in this space. This scholarship represents more than financial aid to me; it symbolizes an opportunity to break free from limitations and prove that women like myself belong in tech.
