Colleen's Story I'm the youngest of five siblings and the only girl. My mom always encouraged and pushed all of us toward careers in tech, believing it would open doors we didn't have growing up. When I first started learning to code, it felt like I was fulfilling her dream more than my own. But over time, something shifted, I started to genuinely enjoy the problem-solving, the creativity, and the sense of building something from nothing. Now coding isn't just something I do because my mom wanted it for me ,it's become my own dream one I'm proud to chase on my own terms. I want to keep growing in this field and turn it into a real career, not just a skill I picked up along the way

I have enjoyed Cooking, teaching English, and chasing sunsets

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
