Daria's Story I am no coder. I have never coded. The closest I came to it was working as a Support representative for a product company in Ukraine specializing in online documents and reading through some of the errors which would give me the idea of why certain features were not working. I was always fascinated by the field but having no practical experience always made me feel like it's not for me and that it's too hard even to try. The thing is, that in the end you need desire and discipline and having the first one and a well-structured program - the idea seems to be more possible than before. In my case I also have circumstances that push me to move and learn. I do hope this opportunity will give me a chance to start a new career in new life circumstances.

My motivation is to gain a solid specialisation with which I can be sure that no matter the circumstances - I can take care of myself and those who might depend on me. Apart from that, at this time, being able to code is a big advantage as it is often not only synonymous with freedom (in opportunities/finances/location) but can be used for something that will benefit others in this fast-changing world. The fact that is SheCodes is 100% online program makes it more accessible in a lot of circumstances. I am also looking at all the workshops and it looks like a very solid program which would give me a vast knowledge base and skills.

Well, I love yoga. I actually taught yoga and loved it! I feel great learning languages, they fascinate me. And I love sudoku - sometimes it's a borderline obsession and I need to control myself not doing it for hours...

Daria's coding training
