Daria's Story I had an introduction coding classes in the middle school where we learned the basics of HTML and CSS. The 13 y.o. me was fascinated by it. At the times there were no other ways to learn coding except actually pursuing a university degree. Unfortunately, it was not really easy for a girl in Ukraine to learn coding 10 years ago - it was considered as a "male area of expertise". I was really good at creative writing though, so I decided to go for a journalism degree. Now as a working news journalist I would really like to switch to a tech journalism. And, who knows, maybe I am actually cut out to become an actual tech developer.

I believe that learning how to code will greatly benefit my knowledge on tech as a journalist, but I also look forward for possibilities to start a new career in these troubling times as a way to improve my financial situation.

Name any horror movie - I have probably already watched it! I also like spending my free time reading, gaming and going for a long walks. And when the mood is low a good twitter meme will cheer me up for sure.

Daria's coding training
