Denizmelek (Deniz)'s Story When I involved myself to describe and evolve into the IT domain. I always wondered and admired how people code or program. It was something that amazed me and looked like a piece of art that some individual develops something by using letters, symbols, characters, and numerics. And then, all of the above mentioned appearing as the webpage, application for the end-user interaction, some useful tool, service, product. This is WOW and I want to do this too. I truly believe that with firm dedication and consistency nothing is impossible. For human beings, only the sky is the limit! Let's go to code!

🙋‍♀️ Denizmelek (Deniz)'s Motivation

My motivation for learning code was to break the stereotype that code, in particular programming, is accessible to individuals with a mathematical mindset and to the computer science nerds, and that it's scary to even try. I'm interested in getting into the IT field. For example, not only as a project manager by having communication skills and knowledge of the language, but it is also very important to understand and know the "kitchen" from the inside, to be on the same page with the specialists. I have long been interested in learning to code, improvising in this art. I have been motivated because of your mission of empowering women in tech. Any robust community is best served when we leverage such insight! And I'm highly interested to be a part of this great initiative. And last, but not least, your teams' kind candor, the hand of help for those who are in need, facing humanitarian crises, financial difficulties, and going through a war. By your kindness, you bringing Peace to this world and helping to solve so many problems. Isn't that motivating enough? Thank you!

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
