Diketso's Story I became interested in coding in high school ( I was 17 years old), I was watching a tech movie and I was intrigued by how apps work and how devices operate and function, after some time my interest grew and when I further looked into it i was curious on how the reason behind is a series of numerical characters which are done as coding. Since then I've been exposed to social media specifically TikTok, I've seen numerous ladies saying they learned how to code through SheCodes and my interest in coding just grew.

I've always wanted to change my life and create a better future for myself, but growing up with limited resources has made it tough to access opportunities. Learning to code with SheCodes is a chance for me to gain valuable skills that can open doors to better-paying jobs and give me the power to build something of my own. I want to be able to support myself and my family, and coding feels like the key to making that happen.

my hobbies include reading fictional books, taking walks, listening to music, and watching movies, preferably action and thrillers.

Diketso's coding training

Diketso has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
