dineo's Story My brain loves working with raw data. The missing link has always been a skill set that takes raw data and turns it into something useful. Coding takes this interest to its roots by learning to understand how to build systems that drive data usage. I feel like it's been a Career stream that has always stared me in the face but I have sidestepped for various reasons. The time is right.

🙋‍♀️ dineo's Motivation

We live in a world driven by data, and learning how to use data meaningfully is so key to creating solutions that will move our world further. I am currently pivoting my Career into a tech stream and learning to program is an obvious next right step. I, unfortunately, got retrenched during the COVID pandemic, and my age means there are few opportunities available, and this is one of the few where age is not a factor. In essence, I want to improve my skillset to be able to compete in the world of tech.

🤹‍♀️ dineo's Hobbies

I love social media, gathering with people around good food and good conversations, reading, TV, and attending concerts.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
