Donne's Story I became interested in coding as I believe it is the “new way of life”. Our world as we know it is changing daily and moving into a more tech diverse world which will require one to have the knowledge and skills to be tech savvy. Why would one not want to excel in an industry so intriguing.

🙋‍♀️ Donne's Motivation

I am motivated to learn coding with SheCodes as from a young age I have always been determined to make a difference within my community but I never truly knew how. It came to my attention that the tech world is a fast growing industry and only 23% female bound in South Africa. This is when I knew how to make a difference; by inspiring more women to be part of such an incredible, industry.

My hobbies include travelling and always learning more about the people and cultures around me. I am a people’s person and always willing to help out others where needed, let it be charity or just offering a helping hand. I am always busy making sure that I evolving myself by reading or listening to interesting/ educational talks.

Donne's coding training

Donne has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
