Edom's Story My mom is in the IT field. She is a college instructor. And since I was a kid, she taught me these little things that kept feeding my curiosity. I always had an interest in the tech  world, which is why I chose to get my degree in Software Engineering. And I am also looking forward to expanding my knowledge beyond this.

First and foremost, I love that it motivates women in this field. And as it is a field mostly dominated by men, I would love to be part of this upcoming transformation. From what I've seen when I attended the 60-minute introduction, the workshop of SheCodes is very well structured and not complicated to learn with.

I love reading books, mostly fiction but also some psychological ones. I enjoy hanging out with friends and going on adventures like trying out different escape rooms. I also like watching movies, horror movies to be specific.

Edom's coding training

Edom has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
