Eleanor's Story I have a sister, Racheal Mhone who recently found so much interest in coding and she has not stopped talking about it. Out of interest, I watched a few videos and read about what coding is and it looked a bit challenging for me. Despite that, I am willing to learn new skills so i can improve my social status and gain a skill that is not practiced by a lot of women or girls in my country.

🙋‍♀️ Eleanor's Motivation

I have a job that pays very low at the end of a month, and it barely sustains my family. I am not exited or motivated to do my job hence I have been looking for a new career path to improve my wellbeing, social status and most importantly give me new purpose.

🤹‍♀️ Eleanor's Hobbies

I usually stay home and sleep. I am usually tired from my job.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
