Emmanuel's Story I first became interested in coding through my curiosity about how websites, apps, and digital platforms are created. I’ve always been interested in technology and enjoyed exploring how different systems work behind the scenes. Over time, I realized that coding is not just about technology — it’s also about creativity, problem-solving, and building ideas into real products. My interest grew even more when I started learning about the opportunities available in the tech industry and how coding skills can be used to create solutions for businesses and everyday challenges. I was inspired by how developers can turn simple ideas into useful applications that people use daily. As I explored more about programming and web development, I became excited to learn the skills myself and gain practical experience. I see coding as a valuable skill that can help me grow professionally, work on innovative projects, and continue learning in a fast-changing digital world.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
