Evelina's Story I first became interested in coding while watching my boyfriend, who is a developer, working on his projects. Curious about what he was doing, I asked him to explain more about it. The more I learned, the more intrigued I became, and I wanted to try coding myself. To take my first step, I found a three-day Python course and decided to give it a shot. Those few days were enough to spark my passion for coding, and I became even more fascinated by it. That was three years ago, and since then, my interest in coding has only grown stronger.

I want to learn how to code because I am currently working in the IT field as a QA Manual. Learning to code will help me grow professionally and expand my skills. Additionally, coding knowledge will be extremely beneficial for my current job, allowing me to understand software development better and improve my testing efficiency.

In my free time, I enjoy staying active, especially through sports like yoga and tennis. Yoga helps me relax and stay balanced, while tennis is a great way to challenge myself and have fun. I also love spending time outdoors, going for long walks in the fresh air—it helps me clear my mind and recharge. Another passion of mine is music; I listen to a lot of it throughout the day, as it keeps me inspired and motivated. Additionally, I enjoy reading self-development books, as they help me grow, learn new perspectives, and improve different aspects of my life.

Evelina's coding training

Evelina has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
