Faith's Story I first became interested in coding when I realized how powerful technology is in shaping the world around us. As a child, I was fascinated by how websites and apps worked behind the scenes. This curiosity led me to experiment with basic HTML and CSS through free online tutorials. The ability to bring ideas to life through code was both exciting and empowering. I’m inspired by how coding can be used to improve lives, automate tasks, and make processes more efficient. It teaches valuable skills like logical thinking, creativity, and patience, which are useful in many areas of life and work. Learning to code also opens doors to career opportunities in a fast-growing industry. I see it as an investment in my future, giving me the ability to adapt, innovate, and stay relevant in a digital world. I’m excited to keep learning, building, and growing through the journey of coding.

For fun, I enjoy a mix of creative and relaxing activities that help me unwind and stay inspired. I love reading novels, especially science fiction and mystery genres, as they allow me to escape into new worlds and explore different perspectives. Writing is another favorite pastime—whether it’s journaling, crafting short stories, or helping others with their writing. I also enjoy watching documentaries and thought-provoking films that expand my understanding of people and cultures. Music is a big part of my life; I like discovering new artists and creating playlists for different moods. When I need to relax, I take long walks or spend time in nature, which helps clear my mind. I also enjoy playing word games and solving puzzles, which keep my brain active and engaged. Overall, I like activities that feed my curiosity, creativity, and love for learning while giving me a sense of peace and enjoyment.

Faith's coding training

Faith has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
