Feben's Story I became interested in coding in my 3rd year of university. We had a few OOP courses and I found Java very fun and interesting. My natural affinity to organization was charmed with the wonder that is MySQL, a year later. Right now I am interested in back-end development.

🙋‍♀️ Feben's Motivation

I would like to learn a skill that'll allow me to have a better income while also contributing to society. I have recently graduated with a Biomedical Engineering degree. The career options for my field in my country is not promising. But I would love to work to improve the health sector in some way - with programming.

🤹‍♀️ Feben's Hobbies

I love to read. I read as much as I can every day.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
