Feza Aline's Story My interest in coding sparked when I encountered it during my time at the Andela Technical Leadership program and the Women African Fellowship, despite not having a prior background in computer science. These experiences introduced me to the world of programming, and I was captivated by the possibilities it offered. As a beginner, I initially felt a mix of curiosity and apprehension, but the supportive learning environment of these programs encouraged me to take the plunge. Starting with the basics, I gradually built an understanding of coding concepts like variables, loops, and functions. With the guidance of mentors and fellow learners, I worked on simple projects that helped me see the practical application of what I was learning. The process of problem-solving through code fascinated me, and I found joy in tackling challenges step by step. Witnessing my code come to life and the sense of achievement that followed fueled my enthusiasm to learn more. While I'm still navigating the learning curve, these experiences have ignited a true passion for coding within me. Looking ahead, I'm excited to continue growing my skills and exploring the vast opportunities that coding offers, even as a beginner coming from a non-technical background.
