Fezeka's Story I first became interested in coding when I started to notice how much technology shapes our daily lives. From the websites we visit to the apps we use for everything from shopping to staying in touch with loved ones—it all runs on code. That sparked a curiosity in me. I started wondering how all of it worked and realized I wanted to be someone who could create those tools, not just use them. At first, it felt like something far outside my comfort zone, but the more I explored, the more I saw how creative and logical coding can be. I’ve always enjoyed solving problems and thinking critically, and coding seemed like a great way to challenge myself in a rewarding way. Seeing stories of people—especially women—who had transitioned into tech and completely changed their lives inspired me even more. That’s when I discovered SheCodes and realized this was the perfect place to start. The idea of learning step-by-step in a supportive environment made me feel like, yes, I really can do this. Now, I’m not just curious—I’m excited to keep learning and growing with every line of code I write.
