Fonzia's Story I am in the start-up sector where I interact with a lot of tech-based start-ups. I am impressed at how we can use coding to come up with solutions to solve societal problems from Agri-tech, Fin-tech and, Health-tech. I want to be part of the solution makers and the first step will be acquiring the relevant skills on how to code.

In this current era where everything is directly or indirectly impacted by technology, it is important to have coding skills that will put you at the forefront in the job market. Knowing how to code is becoming an essential skill to possess. I want to be an empowered woman with a diverse set of skills to enable me secure a job or even create one in the future.

I like traveling especially hiking, painting, cooking new recipes and reading books on financial literacy. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends, they make life easy.

Fonzia's coding training

Fonzia has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
