Garima's Story I first became interested in coding when I realized how much technology shapes our everyday lives—and how empowering it is to understand and build it. My curiosity sparked when I saw simple websites and apps solving big problems, and I wanted to know what happened behind the scenes. I started exploring basic programming through online tutorials, and I was hooked by the creativity and logic involved. Since then, coding has become a way for me to solve problems, express ideas, and continuously learn.

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes stems from a deep curiosity about how the digital world works and a desire to build real-world solutions. I want to gain the skills that empower me to create, not just consume technology. SheCodes offers a supportive and inclusive environment that makes learning accessible and exciting, especially for women like me who are ready to break into tech. I'm excited by the idea of turning my ideas into reality—whether it’s developing websites, automating tasks, or building apps that can make a difference.

🤹‍♀️ Garima's Hobbies

Outside of coding, I enjoy a mix of creative and relaxing hobbies. I love drawing and digital art, which helps me express myself visually. I'm also a big fan of puzzle games and logic challenges, which keep my mind sharp and curious. For fun, I enjoy listening to music, reading mystery novels, and occasionally trying out new tech tools or learning languages—both human and programming ones!

Garima's coding training

Garima has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
